Noon Development Celebrates Cleveland Medical Office Opening

This week, Noon Development, the Cleveland Chamber of Commerce, Specialists in Pain Management (SPM), and Excel Rehab & Sports hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate the official opening of a brand-new medical office building off Mouse Creek Road and Paul Huff Parkway.

This 9,726 square-foot building brings expert care and state-of-the-art medical procedures to the Cleveland community. Tenants of the building include Specialists in Pain Management and Excel Rehab & Sports. These two practices portray the opportunities made possible by the development of new medical office space in the region.

“After careful planning and construction, we are pleased to present this building and watch these tenants accomplish amazing work in their new, innovative space,” Noon Development president Bob Elliott said. “This property has just one remaining suite. With Specialists in Pain Management and Excel Rehab and Sports as tenants, the building has a strong foundation of medical specialists and is ideal for either a retail or medical tenant.”

Excel Rehab & Sports is a physical therapy provider that serves patients from pediatrics and seniors to retirees and athletes. For Excel, which currently has clinics in Northshore, Hixson, and East Brainerd, this new location allows the practice to expand their services to the Cleveland community.

"We have seen increased demand in our area for patient-centered physical therapy," Excel Rehab & Sports Tennessee regional director Jeremy Shook, PT, DPT, OCS, STC, COMT said. "Having our Cleveland location up and running has allowed us to increase patient access and expand the expert care our therapist teams can provide for the community."

"Since we opened the doors to our fourth clinic in my hometown of Cleveland, TN, I have had the privilege of experiencing, first-hand, the therapy care that our community needs," Excel Rehab & Sports Cleveland clinical director Ben McChesney, PT, DPT said. "I believe it is my responsibility and foundational to our mission to understand patient needs and guide them back to everyday activities, work, and recreation, free of pain.”

The Specialists in Pain Management group has been practicing in Cleveland since 2021 and relocated from their office off Peerless Crossing to this new medical building. In addition to their Cleveland practice, SPM has offices in Ooltewah and downtown Chattanooga.

“The new building allows us to accept new patients and provide state-of-the-art procedures right within our office so that our patients do not have to go to a hospital or surgery center,” said president and medical director of SPM, John E. Blake III, M.D. “We are excited to reduce pain and improve the quality of life for our patients who travel to our clinic from across the state.”

This development still has 2,500 square feet available for either a medical or retail tenant to lease.
