New Medical Office Building and Independent Surgery Center Opens in Ohio

Vive Vascular, Trillium Surgery Center, Foot and Ankle Specialists of Central Ohio and Ohio Ophthalmology celebrated the grand opening of a 46,000 square-foot medical office and independent surgery center, alongside Noon Development. The building is located at 680 Buckles Court North and is part of Crescent at Central Park, which includes over 100 acres of mixed-use development.
“The Crescent at Central Park has risen to the top as a choice location for advanced medical practices in Ohio,” said City of Gahanna Mayor Laurie Jadwin. “This new medical building, which houses primary care, three medical specialty practices, and an independent surgery center, is the fourth medical facility in this complex, bringing even more high-quality medical options for our residents and jobs to our economy. We look forward to seeing the center thrive as the latest phase of development takes shape.”
The building is fully leased to multiple medical providers.
“This project was incredibly important to our expansion,” said vascular surgeon and founder of Vive Vascular and Trillium Surgery Center, Dr. Krishna Mannava. “An independent surgery center offers patients the best health outcomes and convenience. We manage scheduling the surgeries, and we aren’t competing for time, or getting pushed back by emergencies. That’s a benefit to our patients and we’re looking forward to expanding as other surgeons book this space and offer their patients the same convenience.”
The convenient location off Interstate 270, generous parking, and proximity to other healthcare services make the building ideal for medical specialties.
“We have expanded significantly over the last 10 years, and needed new space close by,” said leading provider and Gahanna native, Dr. Scott Gurwin at Foot and Ankle Specialists of Central Ohio. “The opportunity to expand into a new, modern office and combine our services adds convenience for patients, that can really make a difference when someone needs ongoing treatments.”
Ohio Ophthalmology expanded, and added staff to open a second office in Gahanna.
“Partnering with other physicians gave us the opportunity to invest in new space, and offer convenience to our patients,” said Dr. Deepa Reddy, owner and board-certified ophthalmologist at Ohio Ophthalmology. “We successfully expanded our practice from Lancaster in order to better serve our patients in two locations and partner with other physicians to make this new building possible,” she added.
The main medical offices were completed earlier this year, and Noon Development recently completed the final touches to the surgery center.
“This is our first surgery center in Ohio,” said president of Noon Development, Bob Elliott. “Gahanna is growing quickly, and we saw a wonderful opportunity to bring a new medical office and fully independent surgery center to this area. Our local physician partners have joined together to make this project a success for every practice and partner.”
The new building is part of the development of commercial and retail space, open green spaces and mixed-use residential in Crescent at Central Park.
